has studied Japanese martial arts for 20 years, and holds a 3rd degree black belt in the Jinenkan. He manages the Sam Nunn Security Program at Georgia Tech, and has Masters degrees in International Relations and, shortly, Economics. He currently lives in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
This blog is designed as a sounding board on issues of strategy and philosophy in the martial arts. The author's experience is in the practice of Japanese kobudo, and so posts tend to focus on that area, but will occassionally veer off in unforseen directions. Comments and feedback are invited.
